In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck or personal vehicle to deliver goods, materials, and packages efficiently across designated routes. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with delivery driver experience and a passion for safe driving and manual handling. Duties Safely operate a box truck or personal vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups along assigned routes Load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand unload Ensure all deliveries are accurate, complete, and on time by verifying addresses and delivery instructions Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and company safety policies during all driving activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members via mobile devices to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are maintained Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including inventory management, manual handling, and moving materials within the facility Qualifications Valid driver's license appropriate for operating a box truck or standard vehicle (Class D license) Proven delivery driver experience with a strong track record of safe driving practices Warehouse experience preferred, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices Familiarity with route driving, manual transmission vehicles, and safe manual handling techniques Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor during interactions with clients and team members Join our team to become an essential part of our delivery operations!
