Position Offers All Miles Paid No Escrow No paycheck holds WEEKLY Direct Deposit 24/7 Fleet Support PrePass and EzPass Provided Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles on over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and maintain efficient schedules. Transport various types of freight including hazardous materials (hazmat), dangerous goods, refrigerated items, flatbed loads, and tanker shipments while complying with hazardous materials regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards; report any mechanical issues promptly. Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, managing delivery documentation and obtaining signatures as needed. Maintain logs of driving hours, cargo details, and route information in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and hazardous materials handling procedures. Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and managing manual handling tasks during loading/unloading processes. Excellent route planning abilities utilizing GPS navigation tools for efficient deliveries across diverse routes including OTR driving routes. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload freight safely while adhering to logistics cargo handling protocols. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers; capable of following detailed instructions accurately.
