Drivers must be comfortable operating manual transmission trucks and handling different types of freight professionally and safely. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across local, regional, or national routes Load and unload freight efficiently using proper techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary Drive a variety of trailer types including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off trucks to meet diverse customer needs Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with federal regulations Route driving to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to safety standards and traffic laws Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries This position includes: Local daily routes Consistent work available (Everyday) . Requirements Valid CDL-A License Manual transmission experience
