What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for technicians that love to be outside and like to be around dogs. We are looking for full time (35-40+ hours per week) or part time technicians (20-30 hours per week). We ask that you start your shift by 8:30 am, you are welcome to start sooner as long as the sun is up, and generally finish between 2-4 pm depending on how many stops you have for that day. What does a typical day look like? A typical day at Doo Care is coming to our office, located in Lombard, right down the street from the Yorktown mall, clock in using our routing app, set up your truck (all technicians will be assigned their own Toyota Tacoma truck to use for work), look at your schedule for the day and go! Our routing app will pull up your phone's GPS so that it is simple and easy to get to each customer on your route. You will drive to each customer's house and clean their yard using a bucket and rake, no bending over required! All trucks come with a phone holder for easy view of GPS while driving, a pair of work gloves, a rake, a scooper bucket, phone charger, garbage bags, Doo Care door hangers and hand sanitizer. If you think of anything else that would help you do your job better then let either of the managers know and we will do our best to accommodate. Why Doo Care? Why work for Doo Care? We offer paid vacation days, paid holidays, health insurance and paid severe weather days for full time employees. You will be working alone, so you can work at your own pace, within reason. This job is great for introverts and extroverts! The job involves quite a bit of walking, but then you will have time to sit in between stops while you are driving so you will not be on your feet the whole shift.
