Dump Truck Operator

CDL required•Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and construction site experience will be vital in supporting various projects, from earthmoving to paving operations. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, backhoes, and Caterpillar machinery to move materials around construction sites. Load and unload materials accurately while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits. Conduct pre-operation inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Assist with site preparation activities including grading, paving, horizontal drilling, tanker operations, and water management tasks. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain smooth site operations. Follow all safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean work environment. Maintain detailed logs of material movements, equipment usage, and safety inspections for compliance purposes. Qualifications Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction or heavy equipment environment. Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, water trucks, backhoes, and Caterpillar equipment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures. Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on heavy equipment and troubleshoot minor issues. Experience working with horizontal drilling, tanker operations, paving projects, or similar construction activities is a plus.
