Job Summary;
CDL A - OTR
Driver Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering goods safely and efficiently across various routes. Company has been in operation and good standing since 2008. You will operate Sleeper Cabs and dry vans or Conestoga flatbed ensuring that all freight is loaded and unloaded with care and properly secured. If you have a passion for driving and a commitment to excellence in delivery service, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Up to $0.80CPM for Dry-Vans, empty and loaded and up to 0.90CPM for Flatbed and Conestoga. What you'll do Operate Sleeper Cabs over the road hauling 53' Dry Van Trailers. Also have 48ft Conestoga flatbed and regular flatbed that pays $0.10-0.15 more per mile depending on experience. Safely load and unload freight while adhering to all safety protocols. Safely secure the loads. Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving. Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Basic qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class A with appropriate endorsements. Experience driving over the road and backing into docks. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in truck driving roles. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with operating dry vans with care and over the road. Experience with finding issues with the equipment while over the road and calling it in to dispatch or fleet manager. Previous experience in route driving with a strong understanding of logistics.
