Job Description

Job Title:
Driver (Full-Time, Entry-Level)
Starting Pay:
$19.00 /hr
New Hire Incentive:
$500.00 bonus after successful completion of a minimum three-month training period Position Overview RMTD is looking for service-oriented individuals to join our team as full-time drivers. This is an entry-level position where we provide the training necessary for you to succeed. We are looking for candidates with a friendly, customer-service-centered attitude who are willing to work all shifts. Requirements & Qualifications Age:
Must be at least 21 years of age to hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Driving Record:
Must have a good driving record for the past 3 years (no more than one moving violation or one at-fault accident). No DUI convictions within the last 10 years.
Documentation:
Ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance.
Background:
A verifiable, positive work history with no separations due to substance abuse violations. Because RMTD provides transportation for Federal and State programs, we may not hire persons with felony convictions.
CDL Licensing:
You must obtain a CDL license (including passenger and air brake tests) within one month of employment . RMTD will train qualified candidates.
Attitude:
A customer-focused and positive mindset is essential.
Physical & Safety Standards DOT Compliance:
Applicants must meet DOT physical qualifications (49 CFR 391.41).
Physical Demands:
Drivers must be able to lift 50 pounds to assist clients, as well as bend, stoop, and kneel to perform wheelchair securement and assist passengers as required by ADA regulations. Training Program New hires will undergo a structured training process, including: A minimum of five days of classroom driver training . A minimum three-month total training period .

In accordance with Federal Regulations and DOT standards , all safety-sensitive applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test. Please note that both recreational and medical marijuana use are strictly prohibited under DOT guidelines.
