Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and construction site experience. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to various job sites. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy equipment. Assist in loading and unloading materials as necessary, utilizing equipment such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes. Perform routine maintenance on the dump truck and other heavy machinery, including graders, dozers, and water trucks. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles and equipment. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
