Local CDL-A Truck Driver -
Year-Round Steady Work Location:
Chicagoland Area Job Summary Hiring experienced CDL Class A drivers for full-time local work. Drivers will haul municipal solid waste from transfer stations using tipper trailers, with opportunities to operate end -dumps & tankers (no HazMat required). This is local work with consistent, year-round freight, allowing drivers to be home daily. Job Responsibilities Haul municipal solid waste from transfer stations to landfills. Operate end dump trailers safely and efficiently. Operate tanker trailers (non-hazardous materials). Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Complete required paperwork and logs accurately. Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations. Maintain clean equipment and communicate any maintenance concerns promptly. Requirements Valid Class A CDL. Minimum 1 year of CDL-A driving experience preferred. Will train End dump and tanker experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate. Clean driving record and strong safety history. Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check. Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
