Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver Non CDL and become a vital part of our logistics and delivery operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods, materials, and packages efficiently to various locations. Your expertise in commercial driving, manual handling, and customer service will ensure smooth deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods across designated routes while adhering to all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment, ensuring safe lifting practices and proper weight distribution Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members using mobile devices to coordinate routes and delivery schedules. Load & unload cargo accurately, ensuring items are secured properly for transit and delivered in excellent condition. Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing customer inquiries or concerns. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on box truck operations and route driving. Strong warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks. Knowledge of commercial truck driving regulations, DOT compliance, and safe lifting practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred; ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission is a plus. Excellent driving skills with adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times Customer service oriented mindset with clear communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
