Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in delivering prompt, professional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. In this energetic role, you'll operate specialized tow trucks to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles after accidents, and ensure safe transportation of vehicles across various locations. Your mechanical aptitude and customer service skills will shine as you handle diverse situations with confidence, efficiency, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the front lines of vehicle recovery, making a tangible difference in drivers' lives every day. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles of all types. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to facilitate towing or roadside assistance. Securely load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues that may affect towing or recovery operations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and ensuring a positive experience. Follow all safety procedures for vehicle loading onto tow trucks and during vehicle recovery towing operations. Assist in vehicle recovery towing after accidents or breakdowns, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving or car towing, with a valid driver's license for heavy vehicles and a clean driving record. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers. Familiarity with cargo securement protocols, flatbed operation, manual transmission driving, and safe vehicle loading techniques. Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly. Experience in automotive repair or mechanic work is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued. Ability to troubleshoot basic vehicle issues quickly using basic vehicle troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of vehicle recovery towing procedures and safe operation of tow trucks is highly desirable. $1,000.00 - $1,300.00 per week
