Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Yard/Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, to deliver goods efficiently and reliably. You will manage warehouse operations related to loading and unloading, ensure adherence to traffic and safety regulations, and provide excellent customer service during deliveries. This position offers an energetic environment where your driving skills and manual handling expertise will contribute directly to our operational success. Duties Safely operate box trucks, personal vehicles, and commercial trucks for local deliveries and pickups Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices Drive route schedules efficiently, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory, organizing storage areas, and managing material handling equipment Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries using mobile devices or digital logs Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods promptly and professionally, addressing any delivery concerns or questions Maintain vehicle safety through regular inspections, reporting issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving and delivery driving preferred Experience operating box trucks, manual transmission vehicles, or heavy-duty trucks is highly desirable Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices in the workplace Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload activities Excellent route driving skills with experience in route planning and delivery logistics Comfortable using mobile devices for communication, navigation, and documentation purposes Prior courier or driver experience is a plus but not mandatory Join us if you're ready to bring energy to your work every day while demonstrating your driving expertise! $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
