Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver/Operator and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely towing, recovering, and transporting vehicles, ensuring prompt and professional service for our customers. Your mechanical aptitude, driving expertise, and customer service skills will drive your success as you navigate various towing scenarios with confidence and precision. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely Perform vehicle recovery towing using specialized techniques to ensure damage-free handling of all types of vehicles Secure loads according to cargo securement protocols, ensuring safe transportation on the tow truck Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs when necessary to facilitate vehicle recovery or transport Assist customers with roadside assistance needs, providing excellent customer service with clear communication and professionalism Follow safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, recoveries, and inspections for compliance and record-keeping purposes Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks or commercial trucks with manual or automatic transmissions in a fast-paced environment Strong mechanical knowledge with automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and vehicle mechanics specific to truck drivers Excellent driving record with experience in commercial driving and vehicle recovery towing Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of flatbed operations, car towing techniques, and safe vehicle loading procedures is highly desirable Prior experience in customer service roles within automotive or roadside assistance industries is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills meet your passion for helping others!
