Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across regional areas. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Manage delivery schedules by route driving across over-the-road routes, ensuring accurate delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, route adjustments, or safety concerns during transit. Requirements Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and recent experience in commercial truck driving. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, and DOT standards for safe trucking operations. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient over-the-road driving routes. Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for various types of freight including hazardous goods and dangerous materials. $1,800.00 - $2,100.00 per week
