Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Box Truck Driver to operate a 26-foot box truck for regional deliveries. This position requires driving, loading and unloading freight, and being on the road for 2-3 days at a time . Non-CDL drivers are welcome to apply. Weekly pay and overnight accommodations are provided for qualifying trips. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload goods, applying safe lifting practices to handle heavy items properly. Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, addressing questions or concerns professionally. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Drive regional routes and stay on the road for 2-3 days at a time Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or commercial truck driving with a focus on box trucks or similar vehicles. Valid driver's license and clean driving record suitable for operating a box truck; CDL not required but knowledge of DOT regulations is essential. Experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred; ability to operate manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace. Ability to navigate routes efficiently using mobile devices or GPS systems. Prior experience in courier or delivery driver roles emphasizing adherence to traffic regulations and customer service excellence. Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, loading, and moving items regularly throughout shifts. Willing to travel and stay overnight, if needed. This position involves both driving and physical warehouse/freight work, so applicants should be comfortable safely handling pallets and working on their feet. We are offering weekly pay with a flexible driving schedule. We will be covering overnight accommodations when traveling. Accepting a Non-CDL position, reliable consistent driving opportunities.
