Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including heavy haul, gondolas, and roll-offs. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role is essential in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety. Duties Operate trucks equipped with manual transmissions, ensuring safe and efficient driving practices. Transport freight across various routes while adhering to delivery schedules. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes, delays, or issues encountered during transport. Follow all regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation. Experience Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Experience in freight transportation and delivery driving is preferred. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in truck driving. Ability to perform manual tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
