In this role, you will operate a grease pump truck to service commercial grease traps at restaurants, food service facilities, and other businesses. Grease traps range in size from 100 to 10,000 gallons , requiring safe and efficient pumping, cleaning, and disposal while following all company and environmental regulations. Drivers are responsible for completing scheduled routes, inspecting equipment, maintaining accurate service records, and providing professional customer service at each location. This position involves working independently, operating specialized pumping equipment, and performing physically demanding work in a variety of weather conditions. Because some customers require service before business hours, flexibility is essential . Certain grease traps must be serviced as early as 3:00 AM , so candidates must be willing to work early morning shifts as needed. Duties Operate a grease pump truck safely and efficiently. Pump and clean grease traps ranging from 100-10,000 gallons . Complete scheduled service routes while maintaining on-time performance. Inspect and maintain truck and pumping equipment. Follow all DOT, safety, and environmental regulations. Accurately complete service logs and required paperwork. Provide courteous and professional customer service. Skills Valid CDL (if required by company or state regulations). Ability to work independently and manage a daily route. Willingness to start work as early as 3:00 AM when required. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety. Previous vacuum truck, septic, waste, or grease collection experience is a plus but not required.
