Overview Join our team as an Van Driver and become a vital part of delivering exceptional transportation services with a focus on safety, and reliability. Pioneer Packaging is partnered with Schwartz Premier Pallet and Reliable Van Rentals to provide transportation for our employees to our four locations. In this role, you will operate a passenger van to provide comfortable and secure rides for employees. Your dedication to adhering to traffic regulations, and ensuring passenger safety will help us build trust and loyalty with our community. This position offers an engaging opportunity to showcase your driving expertise while delivering friendly, professional service. Individuals with their own van are also welcome to apply. Position and Responsibilities The Passenger Van Driver agrees to fulfill the duties of a Passenger Van Driver for Schwartz Premier Pallet & Reliable Van Rentals, which include, but are not limited to: Operating a passenger van safely and responsibly at all times. Transporting passengers or cargo as instructed by Schwartz Premier Pallet & Reliable Van Rentals Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies regarding vehicle use Maintaining vigilance while driving, ensuring the safety of passengers, other road users, and the vehicle 2. Care and Maintenance of the Vehicle The Passenger Van Driver acknowledges that they are responsible for the van assigned to them.
This includes:
Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the van is in good working condition Reporting any mechanical issues, damages, or maintenance needs immediately Keeping the van clean and in a well-maintained condition 3. Tracking and Monitoring The Employee acknowledges and consents to the use of a Samsara Unit installed in the vehicle, which tracks: Location , speed , seat belt usage , time of use , and location of vehicle The Passenger Van Driver is expected to operate the van within the parameters set Schwartz Premier Pallet and Reliable Van Rental and in accordance with all legal and safety guidelines The Passenger Van Driver understands that any misuse of the vehicle, including excessive speeding, failure to wear seat belts, or use of the vehicle outside of authorized times or locations, may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination Each van is tracked at all times and is not to be used outside of standard work hours. Weekend use is absolutely prohibited. Personal use is absolutely prohibited. 4. Compliance with Policies The Passenger Van Driver agrees to comply with all company policies, including but not limited to: Vehicle safety and usage protocols. Timely reporting of any accidents, incidents, or violations. Strict adherence to assigned schedules and routes unless otherwise directed by a supervisor. Requirements Ability to perform night driving confidently while maintaining alertness and safety standards. Organizational skills to manage multiple trips smoothly while maintaining punctuality. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type; clean driving record required.
Pay:
$60.00 - $90.00 per day People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
