Job Description

TransForce Inc. is seeking Local CDL-A Drivers to support our nationwide network of motor carriers and private fleets. In this role, you'll operate commercial vehicles on local routes, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries while following all DOT and company safety standards. Drivers complete pre- and post-trip inspections, use ELDs and logs for compliance, and handle freight securely. You'll work closely with dispatchers and client teams, representing TransForce with professional, safety-focused service. Responsibilities Operate CDL-A vehicles on local routes for Trans Force client companies Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and follow all DOT and company safety standards Ensure accurate, timely pickup and delivery of freight Use ELDs and required logs to maintain compliant records Communicate professionally with dispatchers, clients, and customers Secure and handle freight safely to prevent damage or loss Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to traffic and weather conditions Maintain a clean, well-presented vehicle and represent clients professionally Required Skills CDL-A driving Local route navigation DOT regulations knowledge Vehicle inspection Freight handling Electronic logging devices (ELD) Time management Safety compliance Customer service Basic truck maintenance
