Job Description
E.W. Wylie is seeking a Regional CDL A Truck Driver to haul flatbed freight across assigned routes. In this role, you will safely operate late-model equipment, secure and tarp loads, complete inspections, and maintain accurate ELD and trip records. You'll work closely with dispatch to manage schedules, meet delivery deadlines, and uphold DOT and company safety standards. E.W. Responsibilities Operate CDL A tractor-trailer on regional flatbed routes Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads per company and DOT standards Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate ELD logs and trip documentation Communicate with dispatch on routes, schedules, and delivery status Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations Manage time to meet delivery windows and customer expectations Report equipment issues and coordinate basic maintenance needs Required Skills CDL A driving Flatbed load securement Trip planning Electronic logging (ELD) use DOT safety compliance Defensive driving Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Time management Basic freight documentation Route navigation and GPS use
