Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team at Yacht House Marine based in Washington, IN. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting houseboats across various routes. This role requires tractor-trailers while hauling our houseboats and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds with experience with super loads, oversize loads, etc. Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently to include houseboats. Navigate assigned routes while maintaining accurate delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage using our system. Communicate effectively executive assistant and owner regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Drive manual transmission vehicles as required. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Experience with oversize loads is a plus. Knowledge of load unloading procedures and safety protocols. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
