Job Description

Primary Duties Complies with all plant administrative rules. Complies with all applicable operating procedures. Obeys the plant safety rules. Operates lift truck in the unloading of trucks. Supplies hydraulic loader with cross ties. Completes correct paper work for delivery truck processing. Correctly marks each truckload as to supplier. Moves and stacks processed ties to tie yard. Collects and disposes of yard waste material. Performs ground and building maintenance, when required. Performs other lift truck duties as assigned. Performs all required SH&E responsibilities. Responsibilities Complies with all SH&E regulations and corporate and plant SH&E policies and procedures. Promptly and properly reports all incidents, injuries, damages, spills and/or releases. Promptly reports and, if possible, corrects all unsafe acts and/or conditions. Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) required by the applicable PPE hazard assessments (including restricted use pesticide PPE requirements). Completes all SH&E inspections assigned by management. Performs required housekeeping activities. Watches for drippage from treated ties in the yard and reports to any to Yard Supervisor. Promptly reports and cleans up hydraulic leaks. Requirements & Qualifications Pass preemployment medical screening. Certified as a powered industrial equipment operator. Trained as authorized personnel and/or affected personnel for lockout/tagout. Demonstrates acceptable retention level for the required training elements.
