Responsibilities:

Safely transport freight and cargo to designated destinations in a timely manner Operate cargo vans, box trucks, or semi trucks depending on load requirements Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic records Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding load status and delivery updates Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of freight Uphold professional standards when interacting with customers and receivers

Requirements:

Must own or lease a cargo van, box truck, or semi truck in good working condition Valid driver's license (CDL required for semi truck operators) Proof of commercial vehicle insurance and active DOT/MC authority (or willingness to obtain) Clean driving record with a strong safety history Ability to pass background check and drug screening Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage time independently Previous experience in freight, logistics, or delivery preferred
