CDL A Toter drivers
  • Home Daily
  • $24 per hour with OT
  • Based in Rayne, LA & Pecos/ Midland, TX
  • Class A CDL Driver
  • Toter Driver (Mobile Homes) Full Time
  • Overtime as Needed 10-12/ Hour Shifts (40 + hours a week, Overtime available) Pay frequency: Weekly.
Pay based on experience, starting at $24.00
Possible Schedule/ Shifts:
_Monday through Sunday (varies depending on work), dayshift or nightshift.

General Expectations:
A Toter Truck Driver is typically a senior driver with a Class A CDL and extensive experience and skills. This is a CDL-qualified position responsible for transporting all classes of oversized and overweight loads. As a Toter Driver the overall responsibility is to load, transport and unload mobile homes and various types of oilfield equipment for multiple customers/clients throughout the oil and gas industry both safely and efficiently while remaining within compliance of all regulations, guidelines and policies set forth by the Department of Transportation, DeepWell Energy Services, LLC and the clients and customers in which we do business for.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safe and effective transportation of the oversized load within the region. Safe operation of all equipment, including daily maintenance checks and electronic driver logs. Operating and maintaining all equipment to comply with DOT compliance standards. Delivering and setting up Mobile Homes on location. Partner with Driver Supervisors and Pilot/Escort Drivers to coordinate daily permits and equipment scheduled for delivery and pick up. Setting up the outside with pads and stands, and the inside of each house. Constantly communicates and works with co-workers and technicians. Writes Job Safety Report, a formal report that lists potential hazards at a location. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1+ years of experience as a Class A CDL driver with oversized hauling is preferred. HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements are a Plus Clean MVR and Background Must Meet FMCSA Requirements Must be able to drive a standard transmission. Pass a Physical Examination and Drug Screen. Ability to communicate and follow specific instructions clearly, courteously, and efficiently.
