Full Time and PRN positions available
Non-Exempt Schedule:
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM | Rotating weekends On-Call Join a Team That Makes a Difference At Northlake Behavioral Health, every position plays an important role in supporting individuals seeking mental health treatment and recovery. We are looking for compassionate, dependable team members who understand the importance of empathy, professionalism, patience, and dignity when working with behavioral health patients As a Patient Transportation Driver, you will safely transport patients to and from hospitals, appointments, residences, and other approved locations while helping create a calm, respectful, and supportive experience for those in our care. Responsibilities Safely transport patients to approved destinations. Provide compassionate and professional interactions with patients and staff. Follow all safety procedures, defensive driving practices, and traffic laws. Complete required documentation and vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and infection control standards. Participate in required trainings and support team operations. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous transportation or healthcare experience preferred. Minimum age of 25 years old for insurance purposes. Current valid Driver's License issued by Louisiana or Mississippi based on state of residence. Clean DMV driving record required Must successfully complete company-provided Defensive Driving Course, vehicle orientation, and vehicle skills checklist.
