What You'll Do Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer to transport and deliver products, materials, and equipment while maintaining an excellent safety record. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checks of tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and other critical components to ensure DOT compliance and safe vehicle operation. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, shipping documents, and transportation paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Load, unload, inspect, and secure cargo using proper tie-down procedures to ensure safe and on-time deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, delays, and transportation-related issues while providing exceptional customer service. Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards , perform minor roadside maintenance when needed , and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
