Overview Flotek is seeking a highly motivated Truck Driver to join our team. This position will operate out of our facility in Raceland, LA and will be responsible for safe and timely delivery of dry bulk products to customers in nearby facilities. This is a regular day-route involving short runs to local customers. Regular Work Schedule 6AM-6PM, M-F (nights and weekends as needed). Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Truck Driver will have direct responsibility for the following: Safely load and unload dry cement products. Operate a variety of pumps and blowers in order to transfer product to and from bulk tanks. Perform through pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain and schedule service of the vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.) Report all maintenance problems and concerns to Flotek Management. Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs. Safely operate forklifts as needed to load and unload trucks. Communicate effectively with customers, contractors and team members to ensure smooth operations. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times, including handling hazardous materials. Experience & Requirements Strong commitment to safety. Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle. Must currently hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), issued by the state in which the candidate resides. Acceptable motor vehicle record (5 years). 5 years verifiable driver experience under a DOT certified carrier. Must be comfortable working with cameras in the truck cab. Must be familiar with oilfield and frac locations and operations. General knowledge of DOT and FMCSA requirements including: Logs and ELDs, Hours of Service, Weight Limits, PM Requirements and DOT Driver Files. Ability to read and understand HazMat labels and Safety Data Sheets. Use repair tools and safety equipment. Ability to obtain forklift certification. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to operate technology including GPS, cell phone, and ELD's. High school graduate or equivalent. Physical Demands Climb tank and trailer ladders as needed. Ability to lift, move or carry up to 75 lbs. chest high. Wear respirator as needed. Must pass a DOT physical, drug/alcohol test and background screening. Flotek Industries is an equal employment opportunity employer.
