Job Description

TransForce Inc. seeks a dependable Box Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate to support transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you will safely operate a box truck for local and regional deliveries, complete timely pickups, and ensure accurate, damage-free loading and unloading. You will also assist with warehouse tasks including inventory handling, staging freight, order pulling, and keeping docks and storage areas clean and organized. Success in this position requires strong attention to safety, DOT compliance, and customer service, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities Operate a box truck safely for local and regional deliveries and pickups Load, unload, and secure freight to prevent damage in transit Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues Follow DOT, company, and safety regulations at all times Assist with warehouse tasks including receiving, staging, and shipping freight Pull, scan, and verify orders accurately against documentation Maintain a clean, organized truck, dock, and warehouse work area Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers Complete required delivery logs and basic shipment documentation Support team members to meet daily delivery and warehouse deadlines Required Skills Box truck driving Safe freight loading and unloading DOT safety and compliance basics Pre-trip and post-trip inspections Use of pallet jacks and basic material handling equipment Warehouse operations and inventory handling Order picking and staging Reading bills of lading and shipping documents Basic customer service and communication Time management and route planning
