Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and reliable drivers to provide safe and timely transportation for school-age children to and from our afterschool program. Once transportation duties are completed, you will transition into a counselor role, actively engaging with the children in various activities at our program site. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact while balancing driving and mentorship responsibilities.

Duties Transportation:

Safely transport school-age children from school to the afterschool program site. Optional morning shifts involve picking up children and transporting them to school.

Timeliness:

Adhere to the established schedule for pick-ups and drop-offs, communicating any delays or changes as needed.

Engagement:

Participate in and lead activities, games, and educational programs designed to support the development of school-age children.

Supervision:

Monitor children during activities to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.

Program Support:

Assist with program setup, cleanup, and daily operations as needed.

Communication:

Collaborate with other staff members and communicate effectively with parents or guardians when necessary.

Qualifications BRC Check:

Clear a background check & fingerprinting.

Age Requirement:

Must be at least 20 years of age or older.

Driver's License:

Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework or a college diploma is a plus.

Job Types:
