COVID-19

This position is responsible for Driving the Newbury Court vehicles and buses, in-order-to transport our residents to various locations, during the day. Our residents travel to several special events and run various errands throughout the day, as well.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Drives Newbury Court residents to various locations on a regular schedule. (e.g. Mondays Roche Bros- Acton, Stop & Shop, Donelan's, Trader Joes, etc. Tuesdays Banking and Library Trip. Wednesdays two trips to Crosby's and CVS) Drives Residents to activities as assigned. Activity trips are listed in advance in our monthly calendar and are normally day trips, leaving and returning in the same day. e.g. Boston, New Hampshire, Western Massachusetts Drives Residents to medical and dental appointments in Concord, Acton, Sudbury, Lincoln, Bedford, and Carlisle for no fees Makes regular runs to the post office and banks for the Finance Dept. on a daily basis Drivers provide transportation to the airport and for non-medical appointments as requested by Residents. Refer to "Newbury Court Transportation Polices, Reservations, and Fees" Performs routine maintenance to vehicles and busses, checking engine fluid levels, checking other mechanical functions, keeping vehicles full of gasoline, and maintaining the cleanliness of the interior

Qualifications and License Requirements:

Must have computer skills to access the company's Portal, accomplish tasks such as work orders and away forms, communicate effectively with residents and co-workers, and assist residents as needed Must have ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff in English both written and verbal Must have experience driving a 14 person bus/van Driver should be able to lift up to 50 pounds We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: 401(k) retirement plan with company match Medical and Dental Insurance starting on Day 1 Weekly pay Free use of campus fitness center and indoor pool!
