Schedule:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays The King Farm is looking for a dependable, organized part-time driver to help keep our farm stand stocked with the best local products New England has to offer. This position is much more than making deliveries. You'll play an important role in supporting our relationships with local farmers, food producers, and small businesses. Each week, you'll travel throughout southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, picking up fresh produce, dairy, meats, baked goods, and other locally made products and safely transporting them back to our farm stand. Responsibilities Drive our 20-foot refrigerated box truck (no CDL required) Pick up orders from local farms, food producers, and distributors Verify products and quantities during pickup Safely load, secure, and transport perishable products Maintain proper refrigerated temperatures during transport Assist with unloading and organizing products upon return to the farm Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Represent The King Farm professionally while interacting with our suppliers Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable driving a 20-foot box truck (or willing to learn) Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage a delivery schedule Appreciation for local agriculture and supporting small farms is a plus Schedule Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays Approximately 15-20 hours per week Typical shifts are approximately 4-7 hours Compensation & Benefits $20-22 per hour, depending on experience Employee discount at The King Farm Farm Stand To apply, please send your resume and a brief introduction explaining why you're interested in joining The King Farm.
