HGV Driver Posted on May 21st, 2026 Haverhill Permanent £17.40

00 per hour Do you hold a Class 1 Licence, an in-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card? If so, apply today to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver in Haverhill for our client, who has one of the biggest names within the HGV industry.
The rate of pay is:
Dynamic rates of pay
  • Weekday £17.40 per hour (06:00-18:00)
  • Weeknight £19.90 per hour (18:00-06:00)
  • Saturday day & night £20.45 per hour
  • Sunday day & night £21.45 per hour Consolidated rates of pay, potential hourly rate £19.50
  • £24.00 per hour. Various start times are available! Your Time at Work As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:
  • Trunking Deliveries to RDC's and Depots, No handballing.
  • Some unloading/loading with pallet trucks is required at a very small number of collection/delivery points.
Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and be able to report defects correctly. Applicants will have 6 months of class 1 driving experience, an in-date CPC and a tacho card. Key Information and Benefits
