Hingham, MA 02043 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Launch Driver to operate passenger launches in the Hingham, MA area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from various waterfront locations, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience while adhering to all maritime regulations. Key Responsibilities Operate launch vessels to transport passengers between designated points in a safe and timely manner. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vessel to ensure safety and operational readiness. Maintain clear communication with dispatch and other crew members regarding schedules and passenger needs. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times. Adhere to all local, state, and federal maritime laws and company policies. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the launch vessel. Qualifications Valid boating license or operator's certification as required by Massachusetts regulations. Previous experience operating passenger launches or similar vessels preferred. Strong knowledge of local waterways and navigation rules. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical ability to assist passengers and perform vessel maintenance tasks. Commitment to safety and professionalism at all times.
