Part-Time Home Delivered Meals Driver Make a difference in your community by helping deliver meals to older adults and individuals with disabilities! Access Care Partners is seeking reliable and compassionate individuals who enjoy independent work and want to support their community.
Schedule and Hours Part-time:
averages 12-19 hours per week
Pay Rate:
$15.25 per hour
Mileage Reimbursement:
72.5 cents per mile driven Monday-Friday starting at 8:30 AM Finish once your delivery route is completed (most days end before 1:00 PM) Must keep 8:30 AM-1:00 PM available in case of delays or emergencies Important Requirement You will use your own personal vehicle for deliveries. Position Summary The Home Delivered Meals Driver is responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients in a safe, respectful, and timely manner using their personal vehicle. Key Responsibilities Deliver meals to assigned clients in a sanitary and sensitive manner Follow assigned routes and maintain accurate delivery records and receipts Report any concerns regarding client wellbeing or missed deliveries Ensure proper food safety, temperature, and sanitation standards Attend required trainings and meetings Follow all safety procedures, including traffic laws and safe navigation of walking surfaces Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle properly insured to utilize for business purposes Safe driving record Ability to pass background screenings (CORI, SORI, SAM, MassHealth Exclusion List, OIG) Physical and Work Expectations Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Frequent entering and exiting of vehicle (up to 40 times per day) Ability to climb stairs and walk on uneven surfaces Comfortable working in all weather conditions Strong communication and reliability Ability to work in varied environments and neighborhoods Work Environment Driving in rural, suburban, urban, and inner-city areas Moderate to loud noise levels with frequent interruptions Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a dynamic environments Access Care Partners is an equal opportunity employer. -We believe diverse voices strengthen our work—and we welcome yours.
