Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Class B CDL driver to deliver refrigerated food products to our customers in a safe, timely and professional manner. This is a full-time Monday
- Friday position with early morning starts.
The ideal applicant will have a "can-do" attitude, be reliable with strong attention to detail and be able to work within time limits. Duties Safely operate company box truck to deliver refrigerated food products to restaurants and grocery stores on established routes Load and unload food products using 2-wheeler, pallet jack, and other equipment. Lift single cases over 50 lb. with repetition and perform manual tasks. Check delivery invoices to ensure the correct products and quantities have been delivered. Accurately complete delivery and paperwork while providing excellent customer service. Work independently delivering products in a timely manner while communicating with our office, warehouse, and customers as needed. Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during route driving. Qualifications Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) . Clean driving record, DOT physical meeting DOT requirements Dependability and availability for routes that are typically 5:00-5:30 AM starting time. Physical ability to lift single cases over 50 lb. with repetition and perform manual tasks. Load and unload products, check for delivery accuracy, and accurately complete delivery paperwork. Ability to maneuver a 2-wheeler with product loads including up and down stairs. Familiarity of operating a pallet jack and other equipment Must have one year of prior professional driving with route delivery experience preferred. Knowledge of route driving, truck driving safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
