COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS-CLASS A DRIVER
Competitive hourly wages starting at $30.00-$38.00 per hour with opportunity for tips and overtime; and $10K sign on bonus Top Class A earnings can range between $70,000 and $120,000 per year (wages, tips, referral incentives, bonus included Individual should be qualified and capable of driving 26' trucks, tractor trailers and spot 20' and 40' containers Full time and Flexible schedule - Tell us when you are available Uniforms provided Generous company cost sharing = Low cost individual and family health and dental plans 401 (K) with generous company match Paid holidays and vacation Profitability-based and recruitment referral bonuses
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Must have a Class A drivers license and at least 2 years of experience. Experience with moving industry is a plus. Supervisory experience is preferred. This position requires a mover/driver model as these are not bump and load positions. Individual must possess the ability to properly and safely lift, pack, load and unload vehicle as required. This position may require writing a complete and accurate inventory of household contents, office goods or furniture as needed. Reading, writing and ability to understand English is essential. Mathematical skills also required as weights, measurements, volumes and distance calculations are a job responsibility. Transporting of shipments to and between warehouse, residents, commercial job sites as well as military basis is required. Perform pre-trip & post-trip inspection on truck assigned to ensure travel worthiness. Assist in preparation of vehicle before leaving branch location to assure all materials are placed on vehicle. Perform logs/ELD's. Excellent communication and team approach is essential. This position is a leadership role in which you will provide guidance and organization to crew in a manner in line with the Olympia Way. Early a.m. hours to dispatch and flexible work scheduled is key. Must successfully complete background check, have positive driving record and maintain DOT medical card and other requirements.
