  • $23 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication DOT Physical Certification Full Job Description We are seeking a shuttle driver for a route between Newton and Worcester MA transporting college students. We operate walk-on 14-passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL
  • however, if you have a CDL you get paid extra and are encouraged to apply! (For this specific route only) Non-CDL drivers earn $21/hour to start. Applicants who already have a CDL (w/ P endorsement) earn $23/hour to start. VPA offers weekly payroll
  • get a check, direct deposit, or a pay card each week! Currently, we are seeking a PT driver to work while college is in session. If based in Worcester, the route will be 6:30am-11:30am. If based in the Weston/Newton area, the route will be 7:30am-10:30am. Other hours are also available. Shuttle Driver
  • Job Description The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can Safely shuttling customers to various destinations Opening and closing doors for patrons Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements Recording passenger counts and trip times Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.) Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations License required: valid class D (Non-CDL) license in good standing Due to our insurance regulations, shuttle drivers must be at least 20 years old. A valid DOT Medical card is also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary
  • a simple DOT physical).
Professional driving experience is a plus. Background checks and driving tests will be conducted. VPA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
