The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, heavy machinery and other equipment. Providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely response to roadside assistance and delivery requests. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various tow truck types, including flatbed models. The Tow Truck Driver plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction through professional and efficient service. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to transport vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns, or parking violations Perform automotive diagnostics and basic automotive repairs as needed to prepare vehicles for towing Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches while adhering to safety protocols Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients professionally during stressful situations Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities and vehicle details Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tow trucks to ensure optimal operation Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws during vehicle transport Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries Skills Automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair Proficiency in operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models, and familiarity with commercial driving regulations Experience with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools is preferred Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult or stressful situations calmly Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches Excellent driving skills with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Mechanical experience or mechanic background is advantageous for troubleshooting vehicle issues during towing operations This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a reputable team while utilizing their automotive expertise.
