Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for loading goods from the warehouse on to box truck or mini-bulk truck, transporting the load to the client's location, and unloading the shipment upon arrival. Performs routine vehicle inspection and preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are clean and in good working condition in compliance with DOT regulations. Commercial driver's license class B is required for this position. Essential Functions / General Accountabilities Pick-up loads and ensure loads are secured Transport pallet goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination Pump product from truck to customer storage tanks using truck mounted pumps and hoses Obtain signature from customer to confirm delivered quantity Communicate with dispatch and customer service as needed Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, tire pressure, repairs, etc.) Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs Track and report working hours Adhere to company rules and regulations Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions •The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time Job Qualifications Valid Class B commercial driver's license required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of professional truck driving educational program (preferred)
Experience:
1-2 years of related experience (preferred) No recent legal, moving, or safety violations on record Forklift Certified (preferred) Must pass a background check and drug test Skills Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks a plus Proficient using GPS and other routing systems A desire to work with team members to improve processes and product quality in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing protective gear when necessary. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (E-Logs) Work Environment Outdoors including load/unload in extreme weather conditions Warehouse Physical Demands Physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.
