Road Service Technician

Rice Tire is accepting applications for an experienced Road Service Technician! Responsibilities Perform roadside assistance and tire repairs for various vehicles and equipment in a culture that promotes Stop Work Authority to ensure the safety of employees, customers and/or the public. Drive to various locations/jobsites as needed, maintaining a valid driver's license, complying with DOT rules and regulations. Provide assistance in the shop as needed. Able to lift 75-100 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be able to change passenger, light truck, industrial and commercial truck tires. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with three years of driving experience. Successful candidates must possess a valid DOT medical card or be able to become medically qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle. Acceptable pre-employment drug screening Ideal candidates will be required to run road calls day and/or night.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $23.00 /hr. + Commission (to be earned after 90 days of employment). Competitive pay, depending upon experience.
