Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Driver Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, to deliver goods efficiently and reliably. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and personal vehicles for delivery purposes, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Deliver goods directly to customers' locations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and excellent customer service in both English and Spanish Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices, documenting route progress, delivery status, and any incidents or delays Adhere to scheduled routes by planning efficient driving paths to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management, moving stock within the warehouse, and supporting team members with manual tasks Experience Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services is highly preferred Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and follow manual handling procedures Familiarity with commercial truck driving, route driving, and adhering to DOT regulations is a plus Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English Experience working with mobile devices for route navigation and documentation purposes Knowledge of warehouse operations including loading/unloading procedures and moving inventory within a warehouse setting Join our team as a Driver Associate-Hablamos Espanol and become an essential part of delivering excellence!
