Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver specializing in Roll Off Trucks, where you'll play a vital role in efficient waste collection and disposal. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate heavy-duty trucks to serve municipal, residential and commercial clients. Your expertise will ensure safe, timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all safety and transportation regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off trucks, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and state transportation regulations Load, unload, and transport waste materials efficiently while adhering to hazardous materials regulations when applicable Drive route schedules confidently, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries across designated customer areas Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure mechanical integrity, focusing on air brake systems, tires, lights, and other critical components Maintain accurate logs of routes driven, loads collected, and deliveries made in compliance with safety protocol adherence Assist with the loading and unloading of waste containers using mechanical knowledge of the hook lift system on the trucks Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs Maintain your work flow through company tracking and dispatch software Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record, with endorsements for air brakes Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks such as roll-off, front loader, or rear loader garbage trucks in municipal, residential, and commercial waste management settings Familiarity with traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols related to commercial truck driving Hands-on experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred but not required; must be comfortable handling heavy lifting tasks outdoors Knowledge of solid waste management practices and heavy equipment operation Demonstrated ability to drive route schedules efficiently while maintaining safety standards in outdoor work environments Join us to make a difference in community cleanliness while advancing your career as a skilled CDL Driver. Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
