Driver

Position Summary:

This is a full-time postion as a delivery driver based out of our Frederick Maryland facility. The ideal candidate will maintain a high degree of work safety, timeliness, and professionalism. This person will be responsible for reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. A passion for cannabis coupled with a strong adherence to protocol and compliance are a must for this role. Position Tasks (included but not limited to): Safely transport products, following optimized routes and time schedules. Organize deliveries for the day, including verifying that the correct products and manifests are in place and loaded into the delivery vehicle. Adherence to all state driving laws and state cannabis compliance regulations. Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to complete routine maintenance tasks (changing tires, check and add fluids, etc.). Manage documents associated with cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept and manifests are returned completed and then filed. Maintaining positive professional relationships. Timely and effective communication when issues arise while making deliveries. Comfort using GPS, delivery apps, and handheld devices. Salary $19 USD per hour

Required Skills Performance Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age and pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks and fingerpringing as required by MCA. Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record. Must have a valid drivers license. Ability to communicate professionally in person. Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions. Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time while maintaining focus. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance), and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product. Desired Skills Professional knowledge and working experience of cannabis products. Prior delivery experience.
