Physical Certification Full Job Description Overview Mennella's DC LLC is seeking a dependable CDL-A driver to transport refrigerated food products from processing plants to our distribution facility. This position offers consistent work, competitive hourly pay, overtime when applicable, and daily home time. Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer Pick up refrigerated products from designated processing plants Deliver products to our distribution facility on schedule Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate ELD and hours-of-service records Monitor and document refrigerated trailer temperatures Complete bills of lading and other required paperwork Inspect the tractor, trailer, reefer unit, seals, and load condition Report equipment, safety, temperature, or delivery problems immediately Maintain a clean tractor cab and properly care for assigned equipment Follow DOT, FMCSA, food-safety, sanitation, and company procedures Communicate professionally with plant personnel, warehouse employees, and management Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License Current DOT medical certificate Acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to pass DOT-required drug and alcohol testing Ability to meet FMCSA driver-qualification requirements Tractor-trailer driving experience Working knowledge of ELDs and hours-of-service requirements Dependable attendance and professional communication Refrigerated transportation experience preferred To apply, please submit your resume or work history, including your recent CDL-A tractor-trailer driving experience.
