Miller Pipeline is hiring a CDL Truck Driver to drive commercial motor vehicle with capacity of more than three tons, to transport equipment, materials, pipe, etc., to and from specified destinations.
Main Responsibilities:
Drive to and from specified locations. Prepare receipts for loads picked up and delivered. Maintain IVMR sheets and truck logs according to state and federal regulations. Responsible to follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies as specified. Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive hauling or delivery instructions. Load and unload trucks and trailers. Responsible for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and for proper maintenance of assigned vehicle. Perform or coordinate emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs and tire chains.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training will be considered in lieu of education. Five years over-the-road driving experience, including securing the load. Experience loading and unloading heavy equipment. Experience operating and moving heavy equipment.
