This position is ideal for someone with automotive experience who wants flexible, as-needed work while earning extra income. Responsibilities Deliver rental vehicles to customers throughout the DMV area.
Pick up rental vehicles from customers.
Transport vehicles to mechanics, body shops, dealerships, inspection stations, and car washes.
Respond to vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and roadside emergencies.
Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after transportation.
Take photos and document vehicle condition, mileage, and fuel level.
Assist with minor vehicle issues such as jump-starts, battery replacements, tire changes, and other basic troubleshooting when appropriate.
Coordinate with tow companies, repair shops, and management.
Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for the next rental. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Reliable personal transportation.
Basic to intermediate automotive mechanical knowledge.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation, photos, and communication. Availability Requirements Must live within 20-30 minutes of CDUB Rentals' primary service area.
Must be available to respond to on-call assignments, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Must answer or return calls/texts promptly when on call.
Ability to reach most emergency assignments within 45-60 minutes is preferred.
