Overview Join our small business team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight safely and efficiently across diverse routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a tractor trailer while ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailer across states lines from assigned loads Over the Road and Home on Weekends, Home base DMV area Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Communicate effectively with owner, dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Experience operating automatic transmission truck Proven experience with freight delivery, route driving, and load & unload procedures Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not required, because semi tractor trailer loads are loaded and unloaded by shipping & receiving dock workers Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation logistics Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction Continue your career where your driving skills make a difference! f you're ready to hit the road with confidence and professionalism, we want to hear from you!
