What You'll Do:
Drivers at our centers are responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and other destinations. Your friendly demeanor and reliable service will ensure residents receive the medical assessment and care necessary for their rehabilitation and well being. Key Responsibilities Safely drives residents to medical appointments, outings, and other destinations according to assigned schedule Adheres to traffic laws, regulations, and facility policies to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road Assists residents into and out of vehicle Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs while driving Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure resident needs are met Communicates with administrative staff regularly to receive instructions or report dealys and disruptions of service Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections, refueling and immediately reporting maintenance needs Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers If you're a reliable and compassionate individual with an excellent driving history and passion for helping others, we would like to meet you! Rate of Pay:
USD $18.50 - USD $21.00 /Hr.

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of a Driver include: Current driver's license and excellent driving record is required Previous experience in patient transportation or a similar role preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations Compassion, patience, and empathy in working with seniors Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions : We Hire for Heart!
