Job Description
J Pratt Construction is looking for Seasonal (Winters off) Class A or B Dump Truck Drivers to add to our team. Our work includes excavation, road/sidewalk construction, box culverts, retaining walls, drainage, concrete flat work, grading and much more. Typical responsibilities would include the following: Follow all safety rules while hauling aggregate from vendors to jobsites Work with a crew of 1-5 people daily Keep the Truck and trailer clean and greased (black truck pictured in ad) Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Help out crew on the ground when not driving Dump Truck Drivers Requirements Must have a clean Class A or B license Must pass random drug test requirements as outlined by Federal Motor Carrier Administration Must have an understanding of what dump trucks do on a daily basis. Must have positive " can do " attitude. Benefits Newer Peterbilt trucks Be home for dinner every night as typical hours are 6:30 to 5:00, Monday thru Friday, April-Dec Company paid health insurance after 2 years. (First year company pays 50%, 2nd year company pays 75%). Company Paid life insurance policy 401k with up to 4% employer match. Earned paid time off up to 40 hours per year Paid Holidays .
