Job Description

Job Summery:
RideSource Inc. is a Maine-based transportation company dedicated to providing reliable, safe transportation services throughout the state of Maine. We are seeking reliable Van Drivers to transport passengers safely and efficiently to non-emergency medical appointments, to and from schools, and for court mandated appointments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow the assigned daily route in a safe and timely manner Perform daily vehicle inspections and report and issiues, needed repairs, or routine maintenance needs. Maintain a clean and sanitary vehicle interior and exterior. Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or behavioral issues to the Operations Manager and complete any required documentation. Be polite and respectful with passengers. Attend all mandatory training sessions and safety meetings.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be at least 25 years of age with a minimum of 5 years as a licensed driver. Must have a clean driving record for the last 5 years. Must have the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test in accordance with local laws and ordinances. Must be willing to be fingerprinted. this is a requirement for transporting students to and from school. Must have a basic proficiency with smartphones, including navigation. Knowledge of local routes around the I295 corridor from Topsham to Augusta and I95 corridor from Sabattus to Augusta helpful but not required. First Aid and CPR training is a plus, but training will be provided for anyone not certified.
